I am going out of town, how do I protect my property while
gone?
Besides all the normal things you would do to secure your home when
you leave town, we have developed another tool for you to use. We
have created a secure voice mailbox at the Southbridge Sales Office
where you can leave your out-of-town information so that our paid
patrol officers will be able to know when you are away. Our Officers
will retrieve this information on a daily basis. It will be secure
in that the police will be the only ones with access to this mailbox.
To provide your information do the following:
1. Call 651-5400 and ask for extension 400 (during office
hours) or enter extension 400 (after office hours).
2. Listen to the greeting, and at the tone briefly leave
your name, address, and out-of-town dates.
Please only leave information for one trip at a time. This
will help officers stay current and keep the mailbox space
available for all. If you have further questions, please contact

When is yard waste picked-up by the county?
Chatham County Yard Waste Pickup at the curb is every Monday.
When is bulk waste picked-up by the county?
Chatham County Bulk Waste Pickup is the first Friday of every month.
Where do I call if I see suspicious activity but it is
not an emergency?
Call Chatham County Dispatch at 652-6500 to report non-emergencies
or suspicious activity - a patrol will be sent immediately to investigate.
You may also leave tips for the Southbridge Night Patrol anonymously
at the secure SB Away From Home Line 651-5400 ext. 400
